Denver & Boulder Office Dog Jack

Meet Denver & Boulder’s Office Security & Quality Control Dog Officer, Jack!

I’m in charge of: Office Security & Quality Control Officer. Responsibilities include hourly perimeter checks in the office, checking out all smells, auditing treat supply, training sitters on head and butt scratching techniques, and sniffing down visitors.

My furry family: I live with a bunch of girls who drive me crazy! One of my sisters is an Australian Cattle dog mix who’s always stealing my bed and another sister is a fat orange kitty who never wants to play or share food.

Super power: If you could have one super power what would it be? The ability to leap tall buildings (I am a Great Pyrenees after all…).

Best Thing Ever: Snow!! I love everything about the snow-it holds a ton of good smells, it’s delicious and refreshing, it is the best to roll around in, and I blend into it so well!

Hidden Talent: I can’t wait for my solo backpacking trip this summer to the south of France! I’ll start in Pau and make my way to Cauterets in 7 days with hikes exploring exquisite lakes, shepherds’ huts, and rugged glacier-carved scenery. And I’m totally excited for all of the cheese too!!

Life Philosophy: I believe in the power of long, thoughtful walks, the breeze in your fur, and other simple pleasures like rolling in the grass. Life should be full of treats, snuggles, and belly rubs!

Denver Boulder Maxfund-No-Kill-Shelter-Donations

Denver & Boulder’s Hands for Paws Donation Drive To Benefit Maxfund No-Kill Shelter!

The Out-U-Go! Hands for Paws donation drive benefiting the Maxfund No-Kill Shelter in Denver was a huge success this year! Once again, our awesome pet parents donated a ton of supplies that the Maxfund really needed.

Last month, we dropped off a truckload of the supplies our pet sitters picked up from your homes (leashes, dog beds, food & treats, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and more) to the Maxfund. They were so grateful to receive your gifts!

THANK U to everyone who helped make it happen!

boulder-denver-assistant-manager-leah

Meet Out-U-Go! Boulder & Denver’s New Assistant Manager, Leah!

I’m in charge of: Scheduling puppy playdates, kitty cuddle-time, and administering lots of hugs, belly rubs, ear scratches, and love!

My furry family: My fur family consist of a chubby, loud, drooling orange kitty named Nunu, a sweet, soft-spoken Australian Cattle dog mix named Daisy, and a rowdy, attention-addicted Great Pyrenees named Jack.

Super power: Teleportation-growing up watching Star Trek, who could blame me?!

Best Thing Ever: My favorite thing is walking around Sloan’s Lake with my pups on a sunny winter afternoon.

Hidden Talent: My hidden talent is recipe mash-ups. Ever take a vanilla bean cake, add layers of lemon cheesecake, top it with lemon curd, and frost the sides with a whipped cream frosting? Killer combo!

Life Philosophy: My life philosophy is to share as much kindness, humor, love, and food as you possibly can every day!

Out-U-Go! Boulder Has Moved to an Awesome New Office!!

OUG! Boulder has relocated to an awesome, fully upgraded and brand new office! Located at 3300 Arapahoe Ave Suite #204 and right above Jimmy John’s, OUG! Boulder is thrilled to have a great new work space.

We’d love for you to stop by and say hello! Just look for the OUG! sign on the west-facing side of the building. Feel free to swing by and have a cup of coffee, on us!

Denver-Boulder-Kristen-Fernandez

Meet Boulder Pack Leader, Kristen Fernandez!

I’m in charge of: I proudly serve as Boulder Executive Belly Rub Manager Heather‘s much needed assistant! The title “Head Dog Walker” is one I hold near and dear to my heart!!!! I believe I am, unofficially, in charge of all big dogs. All of my regular pups outweigh me! All is well. I love all dogs big and small!

My Furry Family: I currently only have one furry family member. He is an 11-year-old tuxedo cat named Cowboy! He is a rescue that came to us via the humane society in Albuquerque, NM, although we all know he rescued us in many more ways than we rescued him! We are also looking into finding a couple of puppies to bring into our home. We miss having the energy of pups running around!

Super Power: I believe my super power would be the same as Storm of the X-men. I would control weather. That way I wouldn’t have to leave doggie diaries about muddy paws anymore!

Best thing ever: I have so many favorite things that this is an unfair question! However, if I had to nail down just one, it would be travelling with my two girls. We call ourselves the Girl Team and we have so much fun when we decide to adventure!

Hidden Talent: I have an unreasonable amount of useless trivia in my head. My hidden talent is that I am very good at starting and maintaining conversations in ANY situation. It’s a great party trick!

Life Philosopy: My life philosophy is simple but very effective. Be kind and compassionate–it takes less energy! Smiling resolves conflict much more effectively than frowning, and forgiveness is healing. Start your day laughing and breathe.

Meet Denver & Boulder Pet Sitter, Gabe!

Gabe is awesome at dog walking and cat sitting in Colorado! Get to know a little more about Gabe.

I’m in charge of: Canine posterior oscillation… I make sure tails are wagging.

My furry family: Jack, a 12-year-old Jack Russell terrier. Loves fish; hates squeaky toys.

My super power would be: The ability to always pull exact change from my pocket.

Best thing ever: Picking a good cantaloupe. You just never know.

Hidden talent: I’m good at parallel parking. Like, really good.
