Downers Grove pet sitter Lille

Meet Downers Grove Pet Sitter, Lille, and her Furry Family!

My furry family is: My little guy is Pav, a six-year-old rescue Chihuahua/Terrier mix, and my personal teddy bear is my sister’s dog Percy, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi.

My favorite walk is: Anywhere that is clear and sunny!

My favorite place to take a nap: Anywhere Pav and/or Percy are! Snuggling with them always guarantees a good nap!

My favorite treat: Sushi!

My favorite games: Scrabble and Words with Friends!

Best toys ever: Kong and laser pointer! It is so fun to see Pav go crazy over them. He finds so many smart ways to beat them, it amazes me!

Best thing to do on a sunny day: Take a leisurely walk or sit on the balcony.

Best thing to do on a rainy day: Snuggle with Pav and Percy, and watch a good TV show!

Best gift ever: Pav!

My super power would be: Telekinesis…that would be pretty useful!

Madison Pet Sitter Leona

Meet Multi-Talented Madison Pet Sitter, Leona

Leona grew up on a horse farm in Maryland and still goes riding with her horse, Maggie. She is also an artist, mostly specializing in illustrations!

I am in charge of: Making sure pups, kitties, and other critters get plenty of play and snuggle time while their pet parents are away.

My furry family: Daisy (pictured) and Lollipop, two tuxedo kitties who still love to play like they’re ten years younger.

Super power: Shape-shifting so I could run and play with pups as one of their own kind!

Hidden talent: I make toys for my kitties.

Best thing ever: Cuddles from pups and kitties!

Best day ever: I absolutely love to go hiking at Devil’s Lake.

Best night ever: Lying on the couch with tea, a good book, and a kitty curled up next to me.

Life philosophy: Life is short, but it’s only sweet if you share it with a furry friend!

Doge weather

Dear Doge, Is it Spring (Break) yet?

Furry intel has it that we’ve got a few more weeks of winter weather ahead of us (Punxsutawney Phil reports and Doge confirms). Thinking about heading for the beach this Spring Break? Let your B.F.F.s (Best Friend’s Friends!) at Out-U-Go! hang out with your four-legged family! While you’re away catching some rays, we’ll be here giving your pups and kitties all the love, chin scratches, and belly rubs they could ever imagine. And cookies. There will be cookies.

Schedule your vacation care visits or house sitting today! We book up quickly during this popular travel time, so give us a “woof!”

cold dog in Chicago area snow

Chicagoland Chills: Ice, Snow, & Cold..Oh, my!

When people know you’re in the dog walking world, they talk to you a lot about the weather. In the summer, we often hear “Dog walking must be the perfect job!” In the winter (especially this winter with Chicagoland’s Polar Vortex) that often turns to, “Dog walking must be really hard!”

Yes, the winter challenges our Pet Sitters. You’ve got to bundle up, find a parking spot in the mounds of snow, take your boots off in the house, put on the pups’ coats & booties, encourage pups to take care of business in the cold, wipe the snow off pups (stop to blow your nose), take your boots off again, take the pups’ layers off, etc. It’s a few extra steps, BUT, we love it! We are so lucky to swoop into your home in the middle of the day and let your pup know he or she is loved and cared for.

However your pups feel about the cold, they love to see their favorite Pet Sitter each time he or she visits. As for us, getting licks on our frozen noses makes winter weather worth it!

And kitty visits this time of year? Now THOSE are the cat’s meow! πŸ˜‰

Meagan and Lucy love to take daily dog walks together, covering about 3 miles a day! They also love going to the local dog parks near Downers Grove and surrounding area where Lucy can dunk her head in water bowls and romp and roll in the dirt with her BFF, Muffin.

After the walks and playtime, you will find both cuddled up together on the couch.
