Join OUG! Tallahassee at Florida Department of Corrections’ 4th Annual DC Doggie Dash
It’s that time of year again..the weather is just perfect for the 4th Annual DC Doggie Dash 5K and 1 mile fun run in beautiful Southwood! The Dash is March 15th and registration starts bright and early at 7:30am. Don’t miss the K-9 Unit demonstration at 10:30am. Proceeds will benefit the K-9 Units and Dog Obedience programs of the Florida Department of Corrections.
Since one of my own sweet pups graduated from one of the phenomenal DC dog obedience programs, this cause is near and dear to my heart. These programs give both the inmate and the dogs a second chance at life. Please check out the wonderful dogs available for adoption at Florida Department of Corrections’ Web site.
This is a leave-your-pups-at-home event so all of the attention is on the wonderful dogs ready for their forever homes. Visit this event’s listing for more info.

The OUG! Gang is very excited to announce becoming the official pet care provider of Village Green properties! Furry residents can now enjoy customized packages for dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and puppy and critter care!

West Suburban Humane Society’s Barkapalooza Pet-Friendly Event
The West Suburban Humane Society invites you to collect pledges and walk to benefit the homeless animals in their care on Sunday, September 29th, 2013. Say “Woof!” to Out-U-Go! Downers Grove Pet Care while you’re there!
Barkapalooza is the organization’s biggest and best fundraiser of the year, featuring great groups, great food, & great fun! Kids will enjoy the Barkapalooza pet parade and PAL pups scavenger hunt!

The 3rd annual Paws on the Path event is scheduled for Saturday, September 7th on the Prairie Path in Villa Park. Your pup will enjoy games, treats, and tons of belly rubs!
Doga Day for Charity is coming up fast on August 6th!!!
Out-U-Go! and Boulder’s Natural Animal hospital are teaming up again on an awesome event for charity! Doga, otherwise known as Yoga for Doggies, will be featured. On August 6th from 1pm – 4pm, we’ll all be hosting the Doga Day for Charity, a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. For just $5 you and your pooch get:
- A Doga lesson with Yoga instructor, Steph Schwartz, of the Bali Yoga Retreat
- A massage for your dog by certified canine massage therapist, Lisa Simmerman, of Stella Earth
- Fresh-baked dog treats from Paws Barkery
- Grilled hot dogs, sodas, water, chips, and treats for the humans
What a deal, right?! 
This will be a great time for pups and people regardless of doga or yoga abilities and experience 🙂
